IFLA EU is now recognised as an International Non-governmental Organisation (INGO) and is officially invited as an Observer to both conferences, meetings and workshops of the European Landscape Convention, to plenary sessions of the CDCCP – the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape, as well as to the Council of Ministers meetings. It is also represented in CINGO – Conference of International Non-governmental Organisations.
The Working Group seeks to

2) Represent landscape architecture as a diverse and relevant profession involved in the planning, design, management and science of landscape architecture and the environment, but also a professional body that is in sustainable, resilient development that helps to mitigate climate change and resist biodiversity loss.
